The Mouse in Hawaii

As a little treat before Baby Brother arrived, we took Liam to Disney Aulani for the character breakfast.  It was a bit of trek out there, but that only served to make it feel extra special, since we don't normally spend more than half an hour in the car.

First, we had a chance to meet and greet with Mickey.  He was rockin' a pretty loud aloha shirt, but you know, he's the Mouse, so I guess you can't begrudge  him.

Liam was his usual circumspect self.

Goofy came over to our table, but Liam was in the middle of eating and wondering, "Really?  I've got food here, Goof..."

Minnie stopped by towards the end of the meal and Liam deigned to have his picture taken once again.

From the pictoral evidence, you'd think Liam merely tolerated the trip, but he actually had a fantastic time.  Since I was so very pregnant, the boys and Aunty Isabelle went to get the car while I followed, ready to be picked up at the front.  But I stopped by the gift shop and couldn't resist getting a Mickey pillow pet as a souvenir.  Now, we give the Mickey kisses at night and Liam can't sleep without him!
