Two Months

Today marks Liam's two-month birthday (though he'll be nine weeks tomorrow, so I don't know how that works...).  We played in the afternoon after we picked him up from Aunty Lani's and I was happy to note that he continues to coo and babble and smile at us on occasion.  Afterwards we gave him a bath, which he mostly seems to enjoy, and then I fed him for about an hour to the mind-numbing tune of pink noise since he decided he was going to celebrate by having a little meltdown.  No problem, though.  We're old hats at this--meltdown managed!

In the meantime, here is a little walk down first month lane...

This is the monkey shirt of doom with matching old man pants.  It is a shirt of doom because in general, we put it on him and he promptly pees all over it.

Liam says, "Wha...?"

Here's a happy boy in the Year of the Rabbit t-shirt Aunty Cathy gave him.  And yes, we had to coordinate with the yellow diaper before we took the picture.  We couldn't commit a fashion faux pas with this guy--what would he say when he looked in the mirror?

Dad is wise and takes the opportunity to sleep when Liam sleeps.  Obviously, Mom wasn't so smart, since she was taking pictures rather than sleeping.

Mom often takes the opportunity to re-fuel while Liam sleeps.  Well, that and take pictures.  But Dad took this one so he wasn't sleeping this time, either!

Aunty Allison, who worked with me during Session this year, got Liam this cute bee outfit as a gift.  Since it's been so hot, he hasn't really had an opportunity to wear the hat, but we put it on him anyway to take pictures.  Here he is backstage getting ready.  We have a bee blanket too, that we got from Aunty Charli and Uncle Robert, but forgot to include that in the picture.  Perhaps another photo shoot is in order...
